Hey Adam,
Welcome and thanks for posting your question.  A few things to consider, and we'll see if this helps:

1. Did you apply for and set up your moodle's URL as an 'Application' with the Windows Live ID system?
2. Did you happen to see a 'Consent' page when you first signed in, asking you to give consent to your Moodle?  If so, you should accept that request, and select a period of your choosing (e.g., 1 week or 1 month, for example).
3. Did you add the LiveID with which you are logging in to a Moodle account so that Moodle knows about that user also?

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

Kosar,

Must Moodle URL be a name (eg. www.contoso.com), or can it be just public IP address?
Thank you,
Mihails

Hi there,
According to the Application ID page on Live, the URL must be a domain name, so an IP address won't work.
Hope that helps.

Yes but it is called new Sevice now?

No it doesnt get this far because it bails out right before.

3. Did you add the LiveID with which you are logging in to a Moodle account so that Moodle knows about that user also?

Yes its done.

Is the return URL set up OK in the Live Services block?

Not sure if the old link still works but try this for the appID...

The other Azure links seem newer and I'm not sure if that makes any difference to the service it gives out but all the sites I've done from the above work OK

Yes the return url is right i think :

Im thinking the problem might be that the record of edu.orust.se isnt synced with live services dns servers yet so maybe it cannot connect to it yet.

Is there anyway to check this?

It works now i reinstalled and updated my internal dns servers. Not sure what caused it to begin working. Now i need to get Outlook Live to show up instead of Hotmail.

Here is a good guide I have been following:

Out of interest is this a new Live@Edu account you've created in the last week or so? If it is could you let me know if you get a blue or yellow background for Outlook Live? If you get the yellow one it means you're on the new R4 platform that has numerous fixes and improvements :)

We have had the plug-in working up until yesterdfay when we were changed to R4 and now we get: There's a problem sharing your information with moodle.seminary.edu. Please try again later. It comes under an "Allow access..." error.
Get Microsoft Silverlight
no thanks
