OWA service account?
Dear all,
today, I successfully installed the plug-in and logging on with a live@EDU account works fine. Unfortunately, I don't know what I have to fill in to make the Microsoft Office Outlook® Web Access (OWA) work. What do I have to fill into the input fields "Username", "Password", "Service URL"? In the moment only Hotmail is shown in the box instead of Outlook Live and no new messages from Outlook Live are shown.
Please help.
Thanks, Daniel

Phooky,
I would like to know the anser to this question also. Can you see the messenger and alert blocks in your moodle? I have them enabled but nothing shows except, calendar, hotmail, bing and the other web thing.
Wheelie.

Hi Wheeli,
yes the messenger control is running and shows the other buddies in the learning group. I didn't activated the alert function so it isn't displayed.
So far, I haven't any idea to solve my problem. Hope, somebody of the developer team can help.

Hi there, Those fields are for the Exchange 'Impersonation' Account, which is a feature of Exchange Online whereby an institution can set up an account that can run over the institutions mailboxes. It's a pretty cool feature in Exchange and that's what we use to access the user's mailbox. Clearly this account information must be closely guarded and only stored on a Moodle server that has the proper security measures.
The details on how to set up the Impersonation Account should have been in our documentation but it appears they did not make it in there. I'll get the details for you, or have someone post back how to do this on this thread.
Thanks for trying out this plug-in!

An update on this -- if you are trying to set up the account for accessing the mailboxes, would you please send an email to moodle-at-microsoft-dot-com so we can trade some details over a private message. Thanks.

Hi Kosar
So, the answer to Phooky's question is NO?
We can't use
Live@edu deployed with Outlook Live?

Hi there,
YES, our plug-in does indeed work with Outlook Live but the feature set that enables it won’t be released for a couple of weeks. If you are an existing Live@edu customer, you will receive details in early August on how to add this feature set.
If you would like to get this working prior to the early August timeframe, please send us an email on moodle-at-microsoft-dot-com and we will look for ways to help you get going sooner.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
