AppId without a domain
When getting and AppId for Live services you must provide a domain, IP address will not work. If you are looking to simply evaluate the Live Services block and don't want to get a domain you can update your HOSTS file with a domain name and you local IP address. Once you have done this you can use the domain name you create in you HOSTS file when obtaining the AppId.

Keep in mind the Live Services block will only work on the machine you updated the HOSTS file on, but it's a great way to do some quick testing and evaluation.

On windows the host file is located at:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Get Microsoft Silverlight
