Microsoft Interactive Classroom

The Microsoft Interactive Classroom Add-in for PowerPoint 2007 & 2010 and OneNote 2007 & 2010 bridges lessons delivered in PowerPoint to students using OneNote in 1:1 classroom settings, or lecture environments. It enhances the learning experience by enabling educators to insert polling questions (multiple choice, yes/no, or true/false) into their presentations when creating lessons, increases student engagement by allowing students to answer in-class polls, and supports agile teaching practices through the sharing of ink annotations and slides within the students OneNote Notebook.

Overview of Interactive Classroom

A note on why we moved interactive Classroom to EDULABS
Feedback from early adopters of Interactive Classroom confirms that this offering delivers a compelling and innovative scenario. At the same time, we recognize that deployment of this software  in diverse network environments, as well as large scale deployments, can be challenging and a barrier to entry. We have therefore decided to move Interactive Classroom to our Education Labs site so that we can study and understand how customers want to use it, and work to integrate the best concepts and ideas into a future release of Office 365 for Education. Hosting Interactive Classroom on Education Labs gives us the ability to engage more closely with users who want to test the software and provide feedback. We hope that you will continue to deploy and test Interactive Classroom in your environments, and we look forward to engaging with you on the discussion board.
